1. Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Flash Table at timetable.lagoom.dev, including its timetable tools, optional Google sign-in, and Google Drive backup features (collectively, the “Service”).
Flash Table is independently developed and operated by a private individual. It is not operated by a company or other organization. In these Terms, “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to that individual operator.
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility and authority
You may use the Service only if you are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement under the laws that apply to you.
If you use Flash Table for a school, company, public authority, or another organization, you represent that you have authority to act on its behalf and permission to process information entered into Flash Table. The Service is intended for educators and authorized adult users and is not directed to children under 13.
3. The Service
Flash Table provides tools for managing teachers, subjects, grades, lesson periods, scheduling rules, timetable entries, locks, local database imports and exports, and optional Google-connected features. Its core features can be used without signing in.
We may add, change, limit, or remove features over time.
4. Local storage and backups
Timetable and configuration data are stored in your browser’s local database by default. Local data may be lost if you clear site data, reset or uninstall your browser, lose access to your device, use private browsing, replace the database, or experience a storage failure.
You are responsible for maintaining suitable backups of important data. Before restoring a backup, export or back up the current workspace if you may need it later because restoration replaces the current local database.
5. Optional Google services
Google sign-in is optional. You are responsible for the security of your Google account and activity performed through your authenticated session.
If you authorize Google Drive, Flash Table may create backups, list backups created by Flash Table, and download a selected backup for restoration. Backup files remain in your Drive until you delete them. Flash Table cannot recover a backup that is deleted, unavailable, or corrupted.
Flash Table is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Google. Your use of Google services is also governed by the Google Terms of Service and Google APIs Terms of Service.
6. Your content and responsibilities
“User Content” means information you enter, import, generate, or store using Flash Table. You retain ownership of your User Content and give Flash Table only the limited permission needed to process it for features you request.
You represent that:
- You have the right to enter and process the User Content
- Your use complies with applicable privacy, employment, education, and data-protection laws
- You have obtained any permission needed to process information about teachers, staff, or other people
- Your User Content does not violate another person’s rights
Do not use Flash Table to store unnecessary sensitive information, financial information, health information, credentials, or government identification numbers.
7. Review generated timetables
Automatically generated or suggested timetables may contain errors, conflicts, omissions, or unsuitable assignments. You must review all outputs before relying on or publishing them.
Flash Table does not guarantee that an output meets every school policy, legal requirement, employment agreement, or availability constraint. The Service is an organizational tool and does not provide legal, employment, educational, or other professional advice.
8. Acceptable use
You must not use the Service to:
- Violate law or another person’s rights
- Process personal information without appropriate authority
- Upload malicious code, corrupted files, or harmful content
- Interfere with the Service, its infrastructure, or other users
- Bypass authentication, authorization, or security controls
- Probe or test the Service for vulnerabilities without written permission
- Access Google APIs through undocumented or unauthorized methods
- Circumvent limits imposed by Flash Table or its providers
- Misrepresent your identity or authority
- Use the Service for surveillance, harassment, discrimination, or unlawful profiling
9. Intellectual property and feedback
Except for User Content and third-party materials, the Service, including its branding, interface, software, and documentation, is owned by or licensed to Flash Table and protected by applicable law. You receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it for its intended purpose.
If you voluntarily provide feedback or suggestions, we may use them to improve Flash Table without compensation or obligation to you. This does not give us ownership of your User Content.
10. Privacy
Our handling of personal information is described in the Flash Table Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
11. Third-party services
The Service may depend on providers such as Google, Google Drive, Cloudflare, browser vendors, and internet service providers. Their products are governed by their own terms and policies. We do not control their availability, changes, suspension of access, or independent processing of information.
12. Availability, changes, and termination
We aim to keep Flash Table available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Service may be unavailable because of maintenance, defects, network failures, security events, provider changes, or circumstances outside our control.
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may restrict access if we reasonably believe these Terms were violated or use creates a security or legal risk. The Service is currently offered without charge; any future paid feature will present its price and additional terms before purchase.
13. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant that it will always be available, secure, error-free, suitable for a particular institution, or capable of preserving or restoring all data. Nothing in these Terms excludes mandatory warranties or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
14. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Flash Table and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of data, backups, profits, revenue, or business opportunity; scheduling errors; staffing consequences; reliance on generated output; or failures of third-party services.
These limitations do not apply to liability that cannot legally be limited, including mandatory consumer protections, fraud, intentional misconduct, or personal injury where applicable.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by applicable law, without limiting any mandatory consumer rights. A dispute will be submitted to the courts having jurisdiction under applicable law. Before filing a formal claim, please contact us and make a reasonable attempt to resolve it informally.
16. Changes and general provisions
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Service, law, security requirements, or provider policies. Material changes apply prospectively, and the latest version will display its effective date.
If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement concerning the Service.
17. Contact
The private individual operating Flash Table can be contacted with questions about these Terms at thebasilur@gmail.com.
